About Us

My name is Carol Long.  I am a gerontological nurse who has practiced nursing in Raleigh for many years.  I have worked in many healthcare settings including hospitals, offices, home health and retirement communities.  My professional (and personal) experiences have provided me a broad perspective of senior healthcare.  I assimilated concepts from cardiac rehabilitation, gerontological nursing, geriatric care management and wellness coaching to develop SOZO Senior Wellness, a hybrid business.

Wellness is living one’s life to the fullest whatever the circumstances. At  SOZO we believe that healing and wellness are attainable goals even in the presence of disease.
